A'dam Day 145 -- alternative count: Day 11

approximately 100 days left to hug him again
seeing Paul, 3 years later, in about 4h

a view on my piece today:
[from Belgium's final submission on Question no. 3]:

"That Belgium's present request for the reactivation of the Iron Rhine does not amount to a request that a new route on Belgium territory be prolonged on Dutch territory according to the same plan, with the consequence that Belgium is not under the obligation to bear the costs and financial risks associated with this reactivation." - now is it?!

Question of the day: Why aren't there any postal deliveries made on Sunday?

Honestly, it's probably to give the mail man a break from delivering all of that junk mail.

But if you want a more erudite answer, an analogy to the "blue laws" and church influence back in the day might do...
